How to create sub-menus?

Post by phoenix_talons »

The review for VideoStudio 11 says menus and sub-menus can be created. After looking through the manual, help pages, and exploring every area of VideoStudio applications, I can't find the feature available for creating sub-menus. What did I miss? Or did the product lied? I know that on Sonic/Roxio MyDVD, sub-menus can be easily created. Would be nice if VideoStudio have this feature.

Welcome to the forums!

Sub-menus in VS are Chapter menus. Look for those in the manual, or else, in the burning module, on the first page, you will see up towards top left of screen, a Create Menu button, and above it, another button labelled Add/Edit Chapters.

Then, on the Next page, you choose the template. And then you click on the Edit tab on that page. There is an Advanced button about half way down the right hand side of screen. There you can toggle between showing or not showing the Chapter sub-menus in the final disc.

It didn't lie!

Is this in VS Editor, Movie Wizard or DV-to-DVD Wizard?

None of the above..;)

It's located in the Burn Module which is opened from the Editor, when you select in the Share Step Create Disc.

You might have a look through Steve's Tutorial called From Camcorder to DVD found HERE
