vs9 buggy no sound, no content, crashes grrrrrrrr

upgrade version, crashes for no apparent reason in middle of editing, it did recover the files though... finally finished and though project plays with sound, there is no sound on dvd. dunno??? cant get content. smart download stalls and doesnt reset itself, ulead gave me ftp but doesnt work, asks for password? Im getting nowheres fast...... I cant imagine all these problems with this version as has great success with V7. I should of never upgraded. this is frustrating. 8:(

No sound is probably caused by AC-3 audio. If you are testing using Windows Media Player, download the AC-3 Audio Filter; if you are testing using a standalone DVD player with your TV, the DVD player may not have an AC-3 audio decoder, though that is exceedingly rare these days. You can always change your project settings to use LPCM audio.
