Aspect Ratio Incorrect help!

I am using VS11 and my clips are all 16:9 by ratio. I have set the project setting to 16:9 but when i play the project inside VS it plays it as 4:3

also when i export it out as AVI file the default is 4:3. if I change the compression settings using divx to 16:9 then it becomes 16:9 but i need to export it as MOV and there is no 16:9 option in exporting MOVs.

What can I do?
