field order dvd import
I think I know the answer to this question but Id thought Id check. Upper field first is commonly used for vhs imports and lower field first for DV imports. I record my VHS tapes on my DVD recorder, then burn them to DVD, then import them to VS10+. Even though the original data is VHS, Im assuming Ive done the wrong thing by importing the DVDs as upper field first. I figure as long as I render these as upper field I havent done too much damage.
