VS 7SE will not let me import c3d files

When I create a file in COOL 3D V3 SE and save it, then open VS7 SE and attempt to import the file, it responds with an error message that states "Unable to open file c3d file format error."

Can anyone help me resolve this issue? As my video capture card came with C3D and VS7 SE, I figure they SHOULD work together?

They will indeed work together but not by trying to import the Cool 3D native c3d file, within Cool 3D you need to use the "Export" function to create a .tga, .gif , or .avi file (depending on your intended use) and then import that into UVS using the normal import methods.

With VS8 and VS9 you can import the .cd3 file directly into your project.

Upgrade time?

Thanks BrianCee for your advice - exporting seems to work.
bobfrank - wish I could spend the money to upgrade.... thanks for the advice though.
