Program Terminates

I load an avi file into Media Studio 8, and use the scissors tool to
cut a piece off the front of the clip. then I grab the remaining clip
and try to move it to the left to the beginning of the time line. The
moment I start to move the clip, the program instantly vanishes and I
find myself looking at the Windows decktop. I get no error message or
warning, and no trace of Media Studio running.
Anyone else run into this sort of behavior?

Well, now, if you told us more, we would have a better chance of replying usefully. Read the READ THIS BEFORE POSTING thread and comply. Then, at least, we would have an inkling on what you are running and, who knows?, maybe even the type of AVI file you are using.
