Hi,
I installed my registered copy of Ulead Smartsaver Pro to my Vista system, and also the plugin for Photoshop CS3. It used to work with a windows XP2 machine without a problem. Now in Vista CS3 shows the plugin in the export area as it should but when I try to use it I get an error saying that CS3 was unable to find the registry information about the plugin and that it should be re installed. I have uninstalled it and uninstalled it with no fix. The program works perfectly on his own but not as a plugin. Do anyone has seen this problem. Thank you.

I did a bit of searching on this one to establish if it is deemed Vista Compatible. Interestingly some sites claim it is but not all.
I did find a review of SmartSaver Pro 3 which was dated 25 May 2000 - that is eight years ago.
From my knowledge of Corels attitude towards the former Ulead Range I doubt very much that Corel intend to release any patches to make it "officially" compliant with Vista.
This site even lists Windows 95 amongst the supported operating systems - again making me wonder if smartsaver pro will work with Vista.
If any forum member has managed to install a fully working copy on Vista please update this thread.
