BACKGROUND NOISE DURING VIDEO CAPTURE

Hi All


I'm a new user to Ulead Video Studio 10. How can I reduce the background noise during my video capture from foxtel

I thought Foxtel was a proprietary cable channel and that you should not be able to -- nor in legal terms, want to -- be trying to copy their material anyway...! :twisted:

Be that as it may, there is nothing that VS can do on the audio front. You can try some of the filters, but I don't think they will get you anywhere. You would need to separate out the audio stream and put it through a third party audio editing program to have any luck on that score.

Hi Ken


Just want to clarify my email, I am copying from the Christian Satellite TV, and not Foxtel, so the email should read....copying from Satellite cable TV similar to Foxtel BUT that it is not going to help since you said I can't get rid of the background noise....can you point me in the direction of using another product to filter the noise

I personally use the Wave Editor module in the Nero 8 suite. However, any audio editing program with filters will help you. A lot of users here use a freeware program called Audacity which you can Google for... :lol:
