I'm using the trial of Movie Factory 6 Plus and the first use is making a picture slideshow, then onto videos.
I've read posts that say they can and some say they cannot add pan & zoom to individual photos. In May 2007, a poster said to use VideoStudio 11 to do this. Maybe that's the software to try and buy. Any thoughts?
A simple slideshow in MF 6 Plus produced very clear pictures.
Please clarify. Thank you.
Brad
Does MF 6 Plus allow pan & zoom slide by slide?
Select Create Slide Show. Next in the add sideshow window select your group of pictures and click Add Photo. Next click on the PAN & ZOOM icon and select your desired effect. Adding photos one at a time or in different numbered size groups allows you add the effect in more ¡§controlled¡¨ fashion - Each Add Photo "Click" is regarded as a separate clip to which the effect is added.

While that's true, the problem may then fall when the DVD is produced. Each photo would be treated as a separate title, and DVDMF would want to create a separate menu for each title.lazael wrote:Select Create Slide Show. One workaround could be, once you have all your photos inserted, use the Fast Export option to create a video file of each photo. This means that if you have 100 photos, you will now have 100 video clips.
Now once you have the clips, delete the photos (titles) from the timeline. Select insert video, and insert all those videos that you just created. Now with all the video clips in the timeline, select them all, and click Join Video. Now you will have a single video clip of all the photos.
My opinion, that's a lot of workaround to do just for separate and different pan/zoom on each photo. However DVDMF is primarily a DVD authoring program, with very little editing capabilities.
DVDMF does a good job with producing simple slideshows. Using the Random option generally produces good results. However if you are wanting more control over pan/zoom for each photo then either VS would be better for that...
