How to burn DVD to hard drive?

Post by westlight »

VS 11.5 Plus

At some point in the past while working on a project I was able to burn a dvd folder and file to my hard drive. Now, on my new system using Vista I do not have that option it seems. Perhaps I'm just going at it wrong as I've only done this once before some time ago.

My steps. I have my project in the timeline then I go to Share>Create Disk>DVD. I then skip the menu part and when I get to the window to "Burn Disk" all that shows up is my Blu-Ray burner and there is no option to burn to the hard drive, which was there before, I think. What am I missing?

Perhaps I've used a different program to do this in the past but I thought it was VS.

Did you press the down arrow to the right side of the window? This opens up a menu which has Create Blu-ray folders enabled. However you're not able to create a disc image.
