VideoStudio 10 - Using the .ISO files

Post by Jon@Xerefa »

Can you help?

I've been using Videostudio 10 Plus for about three years now, so I know the product very well - and most of the bugs and work arounds (Saying that I still keep finding small new things all the time - so I obviously don't know it as well as I thought!).

My question is this:-

I still edit a lot of footage on Videostudio 10 plus for my business (as its easy and quick). As such, I have some quite big files that I burn to disc on a regular basis using this older version of software. I always create a .ISO files when i create a DVD and save them just in case I ever lose the final/Master DVD's.

Up till now I've never had to go back and use the .ISO file to create an image of a clients DVD. But as you can guess I now have to do this for an old client (as I've buggered up the master DVD so this is my only way of creating the required disk - Yes, I am a muppet!).

This is where I have a problem...... Video studio 10 Plus siad there was an easy to use utility or option to go back and create copies of the burned DVD's (using these .ISO file) at a later date (which is why I archieved them)......... For the life of me I can't find the poxy option on Video studio 10 plus to do this.

I thought I'd simply have to go to 'Create disc' and find an option in there somewhere.......but I can't see it......... So!, where am I going wrong and how do I use Video Studio 10 Plus to create a DVD from these old .ISO project files?

Any idea's would be welcomed.

My apologies if this is already answered on the site somewhere.... I checked but couldn't see it!

Cheers

Go to Start>All Programs and it should be in your Ulead VideoStudio folder. It's called a Disk Image Recorder, or something to that effect.

Jeff,

Many thanks for that, How stupid do I feel......... I thought it was part of the main Videostudio 10 plus package itself. Hence the reason I couldn't find it.

It's exactly where you said.

Cheers
