Video files without volume?

Post by kidd32 »

Hi..I'm just new in using Video Studio 11...i'm having some kind of a problem. I'm making a slide show and i want to add videos in between. I'm trying to add some .avi files from popular movies , but when i'm inserting it to my project..the video will be there but there is no volume....there is no sound coming out of the video. If i will view it as a clip the sound will be there. What seems to be the problem? Is there a setting to correct this? What should i do? Hope you could help me.....or you could give me some tips in adding a video in a project.
Thanks guys..

If it is the trial version of VS11, and your movie rips use Dolby audio, as they likely do, then VS11 trial version cannot process Dolby.

If it is some other audio format, then you have to have the correct codec installed on your computer. Where did the .avi's come from? Right click on one of them within Video Studio, either in the timeline or the library window, and copy all its properties here please, including of course the audio part.
