I'm trying to be good and read the stickies and faq,
and found this (since I'm having install problems):
Hot Fix is for use ONLY with the Full, Upgrade and TBYB version of Ulead VideoStudio 11 and 11 Plus
* This Hot Fix can not be uninstalled
So here's my question:
I¡¦m running the trial version and trying to install the actual purchased full version from a disk.
SO, do I have to:
1. Uninstall trial
2. install hotfix download
3. install full version from disc?
Or some version of the ¡§manual fix¡¨ mentioned in the user faQ?
I don¡¦t want to lose any of my user files, and just want to do things right and get this thing installed
- your help much appreciated!

Do not install the hot fix unless you have the specific problems that the hot fix fixes.

¡¥_9C4ES5F53239F4445B5624B85AE1A1D9A¡¦ cannont be installed because the file cannot be found in cabinet file ¡§DATA1.CAB¡¦ This could indicate a network error, an error reading from the CDROM, or a problem with this package.
Then when you click OK it goes to:
Error: 1603 Fatal Error during installation. Consult windows installer help (MS.CHM) or MSDM for more information"
So is this what the hotfix is for?

No patch will work on a trial version. So you have to totally remove that and then try loading the full version. And to repeat Black Lab, ONLY install the 'hot fix' if, during the latter installation, you have the specific problem referred to. And the error message would refer to the SDK...

So by "totally removing" the trial version, do you mean uninstall it, or delete the program folder (the hotfix instructions mention this)
And how do I keep from losing my library and other user files if I completely uninstall it?
