Welcome to the forums,
To delete or remove the audio from any video clip, just right-click on the video clip, select split audio. This will put the audio in one of the audio tracks, most likely the voice/narration track. Then with the audio selected, press delete on your keyboard.
This really does not "delete" the audio from the source clip. If you look at the Video Tab, just to the right of the Volume settings, you will see a speaker icon. Clicking on this icon will mute the audio. After splitting the audio from the video, notice that the speaker icon has an X through it, meaning it has been muted.
Now to create a MPEG-2 video file, go to Share step (last tab on the top right), and select Create Video File. In the menu select Custom. In the Save-As dialog that opens, press the Save As Type drop-down menu and choose MPEG Files. Then press the Options button.
Now in the Options dialog, go to the General tab, and press the Data Track drop-down menu and choose Video Only.
