Hi, sorry if this has been asked before but I'm new to video editing.
Is it possible to extract the audio component only from DV clips using VS9? And if so, how?
Cheers

YES - put the clip in the timeline - go to the "Share" screen - click on "Create Sound File" - choose where to save it - choose what to call it - click "Save" and UVS will render out a wave file for you .
Make take a while and may appear to be rendering your video but it is extracting the sound - just give it time.
