WinDVD 5 Region.

Post by Froggystyle »

Okay, I recently did a reboot on my labtop to make a fresh new start, so that it would be as though I just purchased it. Before, I was able to play my DVDs without any problems, the region was set to 1, 'cause that's where I am. I never changed it at all, not once. Now, after the rebooting and all that got settled, I was in the mood to watch a movie. To my surprise I get the error that informs me that a it's set on the wrong region. Confused, I head on over to check my settings and I notice that's it on region 2 now, for no apparent reason. I try and change the driver region to put it back to 1, but now it wont let me change it 'cause, oddly enough, I have 0 more changes. Is there anything helpful or useful I could do to remedy the situation. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
