Hi,
I've upgraded from V9 to V11.5plus. All was well until upgrading.
I'm trying to capture video from a VCR via a DVICO Fusion HDTV card using AV leads. I cannot get any sound capture whatsoever.
I've gone into the Video Properties and cannot change the audio source. It's 'greyed' out and says "Pass through to sound card". I gather this is my problem.
Any ideas anyone?

Just a quick note...
Both mention using the capture card with versions prior to VS11. The capture plug-in was changed by Intervideo (when it owned Ulead, and just prior to Corel purchasing Intervideo), from the DSW/VFW capture plug-in to its own IVI. This did pose some significant problems when first released. Not all have been fixed, however most were with the VS 11 update pack.
This may be one of those problems that was not fixed. If you have an alternative means to capture, then use it. There's nothing written in stone that you must use one program for everything. Some of use WinDV to capture, (firewire and DV only), because it seems to work better than capturing from VS.
So if you still have VS9 and the capture device works with it, use VS9 to capture. Once the video is on your PC, use VS11+ to edit.
