Iserted DVD footage has no Audio

I have tried to download footage from a DVD+RW into VS11 plus that I recorded from TV,

DVD footage is-

mpeg 2
up filed 1st
4x3
720x576
4300
25 fps
24 bits

but I am getting no Audio. In the properties it has no audio displayed.

I DO NOT HAVE THIS PROBLEM IN VS9, just in my newly purchased VS11+.

I have checked the user guide, all the other posts, but haven't found any on this subject
