Encoding MPEG-2 for DVD
In my efforts to get the best quality from my HD mt2 files edited in VS to a Standard DVD I cam across this link:

Many of the settings are not present in VS but some of the basic settings are explained in detail.
I followed most of the recommendations in this article and was delighted with the results.
