I come across the following problem: on pressing play button to start preview on the preview page, DMF 6 stops responding, I have to shut down the programme by Windows task manager. I have installed the Patch 2 and the lates DirectX as well.
Do you have any suggestion?

What format are your video files?
The more-compressed formats tend to cause lots of trouble. If you are using something like DivX, WMV, etc., you may have to re-capture to a different format or convert them with a 3rd-party program.

It is actually an MPEG-2 file created by UVS 11 Plus. A 67 minute film compressed to 4,23 GB, so the encoding was made with high bit rate.
After finishing the menu I go to the Preview stage and press the play button then the programme does not respond and I have to shut it down by Windows task mangager.
I would welcome any suggestion. Thanks in advance.
