To clarify then:

Post by tonyjer »

I had been using Shrink to condense DVDs (either legitimately acquired commercial ones or my own projects).

Shrink would allow creation of:

TS Folders
ISO Images
Burn DVD

Unfortunately the last option was not available when I got my new PC with Vista cos Shrink was not recognising Roxio (previous version of Nero I used had known compatibility issues with Vista).

For about 4 months I used Shrink to create ISO and then the VS8 burning module (MMC I think) to burn to DVD. I had no probs at all (MMC burning engine is compatible with every conceivable sort of media).

I will try Roxio as you state and report back. It still occurs that it may be the burning engine as I used a a variety of media before but never had a problem. Can we be sure that VS8 ISO recorder is unaffected by my trial VS11.5 Plus?
