In order to have previous created "projects" and "libraries" open correctly are there files or folders that I need to transfer to my new PC?
I've installed VS11 plus with the updates. The actual projects and original images and video clips are on external drives. I'm assuming VS11 stores files in the C: "Application Data>Ulead>Ulead Systems>Ulead Video Studio>11.0 folder that should/could be copied over to the new PC?
Thanks
Have new PC, What files should I transfer over?

westlight,
You shouldn't need to copy anything other than any menu that you customized (and saved) and anything else, such as filters, that you added after you installed VS. If you have everything on an external drive, i.e. none of your projects relies on something that's on the hard drive like pics, audio files, or video files then your OK.
Hope you like your new toy!

I am not sure what you mean by "the actual projects" which you say are on the external drive with all relevant images and video clips. But do you mean that the project file itself -- xxx.vsp -- is on the external drive as well? If so, then Ron is correct. If not, you have to transfer that file to the new computer though it probably will not ask you to relink since all the image and video files it refers to are still on the external drive.
As for the VS11.0 working folder you referred to, that normally would hold the .vsp file unless you specifically changed the default working directory to the external drive. It would also normally be the target for any new 'shared' files you created unless you, again, specified the external drive as the target for those. Other than that, though, that working folder on the C:\ drive usually only has temp files which can be ignored.
Oh, and don't forget to change your system button settings for the new toy!

I've updated my system "new toy" profile.
I've been able to open my "project, .vsp" file/s, so far, after renaming the external drive letter without a problem.
What I'm not seeing are all my "Library" clips, including still images, audio and video. I'm referring to the "thumbnails" that appear in the Library Panel. I would hate to have to re-import all those many files back into my library but perhaps that's just the way it is?
Seems I've read somewhere in this Forum that certain files in the C: "Application Data>Ulead>Ulead Systems>Ulead Video Studio>11.0 folder had to be copied over to a new/different system.
