Help; I can not install the plus for Videostudio 11
I just bought Videostudio 11 and I downloaded the update to 11plus but when I try to install it, it says it can not find Ulead Videostudio 11 on my computer. It is there because I have used it. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling but through th add/remove programs and the manual uninstall directions I found on Ulead's website. I even uninstalled the previous vers 8 that I had and the Movie creator 6 but nothing works. Does anyone have any suggestions. I bought the 11 because it was supposed to have several video overlay tracks but it doesn't and I was led to understand that the plus has those overlays.

Hi Sheri -- welcome to the Forum!
I am afraid you did not read the details properly. There are two versions of VS11 -- the ordinary vanilla version, which is called just plain old 'Video Studio 11'. This is what you have bought, by the sounds of it.
However, there is also a 'Plus' version which, as the word implies, has extra features, the extra overlay tracks being just one of them. It appears as either 'Video Studio 11+' or 'Video Studio 11 PLUS'.
And I am afraid the free upgrade to VS11.5+/PLUS is only available to registered owners of 'Video Studio 11+/PLUS'.
If you just bought it, then I would suggest you go back to Corel and say you meant to buy the Plus version and see if they will refund the original amount (they should as they have a 60 day refund policy). Or else credit that amount and allow you to pay the bit extra to get the Plus version.
