xbox360 hd-dvd on DVD+r DL

I successfully made an HD-DVD on a dual layer DVD+r disc. using Video Studio. It looks great and plays perfectly until it gets to the end of layer 1 and it freezes and won't unfreeze. I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this issue and if they found a fix for it.
