Hello,
I am new to the board and I am trying to figure out a few things with my new camcorder. If this is not the correct place to post this please let me know.
I Have the Cannon HG10 camcorder, it is HD. It came with the Corel guide menu, the Win DVD and the DVD Movie Factory.
The camera downloads files to my computer in m2ts format. I am trying to figure out how I convert clips to mpeg or other format so I can post clips on the internet or upload them to site (ie photobucket) Is there anyway to do this with the software they provided me? If not, does anyone know what Corel provides to do this? THank you

Movie Factory is mainly for making DVDs. Video Studio is a more general-purpose video editing program that can save your video in a variety of formats (as well as make DVDs). Make sure to test the trial version before you buy... I've seem to remember seeing some posts indicating trouble with files from the HG10 camera.
