Video Stream error

Post by davedawn »

I deleted a few of the thumbnails out of the video folder after I finished a project, and now everytime I launch Video Studio I get a load from stream error message and a bunch of white boxes with a big x in them pop up. It comes up anytime I try to do anything. I can create a new folder, but I have to get through the default one first. Is there a fix for this please?
Thanks

davedawn,

Would you mind clarifying "I get a load from stream error message"? I'd like to help you if possible. Can you post any of the error messages that you're getting? Also, are the white boxes with a big x in the library where the files you deleted once were?

Thanks

Dave -- your original query was answered, albeit in a round-about way, here http://phpbb.ulead.com.tw/EN/viewtopic. ... 481#156481

easy solution for load on stream error

Post by SlashinME »

I had the error of "load on stream error."

Close videostudio. Do a search for "vs_video.dat". You will get several results. Rename the one that is in the ...\application data\... to "vs_video.dat.bak"
Run Video studio. It will create an new folder with the default thumbnails that can be deleted.

The error is exactly as stated - Load Stream Error. Nothing else, no explanation. Yes, I deleted files in the directories where the X's appeared.
I will try the suggestions you all have given me. Thank you so much for your help!
