What no AAC support
What no AAC support
Audio is AAC but DVD MovieFactory dosen't see the Audio in my clips
Apparently not. From the Product Features:What no AAC support
Whenever I run into a "problem" format, SUPER (a FREE "universal conversion" program) usually helps. Assuming SUPER works with your file, the idea would be to convert your files to DVD compatable MPEG-2 with DVD-compatible audio, before bringing it into Movie Factory.File Format Support
Import
- Video: MPEG-1, MPEG-2, DV AVI, AVI, DivX, HDV, WMV-HD, WMV-SD, DVB-T HD, ASF, DVB-T HD, DVD-Video, DVD+VR, DVD-VR, DVR-MS, DAT, MPV, QuickTime(MOV, QT), Ulead VideoStudio project (VSP)
- Audio: CDA, LPCM, MPEG Audio (MPA), WAV, Dolby Digital, WMA, Ogg Vorbis Audio (OGG), MP3
You can look at one of the Movie Factory Project-Templates to find the settings (resolution, framerate, bitrate, etc) for a DVD compatible MPEG-2 file. I would choose AC3 (Dolby) audio, or you can create a separate WAV file for the audio.
You could also try SVCD 2 DVD MPG (also FREE!!!). It claims to convert almost anything to DVD-compatible MPEG-2. From the same vendor, you can get SVCD 2 DVD (~ $40 USD) which claims to convert almost anything to DVD. (With this program you wouldn't need Movie Factory.)

Yup it really sad that Movie Factory dosen't support that codec becuases with in a few weeks the Hauppauge WinTV HD-PVR H.264 AVCHD video encoder should be out with it first device shipments but it includes the authoring software from Arcsoft which is so lame it ain't funny and I would never recommend it.
