No audio !

Post by Vasan »

Hi

I tried to capture PAL-VHS to DVD using VS8. Audio was very clear while playing in Timeline. But when I burn them there is no audio. The video part was good.

I have done this before without any problem. I do not know whether unknowingly I changed any settings ! Please help me to suggest the correct settings for capturing analog video to DVD.

In my window mixer I see stereo mix is checked. In the audio settings I see PCM, Realtek audio, Stereo Mix, 44100 Khz 16bit..... I have P4, 1GB Ram, 250GB HD.

Where I am doing wrong !

Please help.....

regards

Did you manually set the Burn properties as outlined in the top post? What settings did you use for the audio properties?

Hi
Thanks for your quick response !

I did not make any change in the burn properties.

Given below are the settings in my capture option:

Input Source:
audio active device = Realtek ac97
(ATI all in one graphics card)
audioa=Stereo Mix
Video composite
TV system = PAL

Audio Format:
PCM 44100KHZ 16bit 172 kbits/sec

Is it necessary to uninstall and reinstall VS8

thanks again

Vasan,

If you did not MANUALLY SET your burn properties, Video Studio will set properties that may not match your captured video. Follow the Recommended Procedure in the top post.
