Installation

Unlike the other programs in the suite, Media Studio 7 hung up during the WIndows Media portion of the install and no dektop icon(s) was(were) installed. In the Windows XP program listing, MS7 is there with 6 sub-choices and the readme file. Is this normal? You run " Video Capture 7" and then exit to run "Video Editor 7" as an example? There is no single shell program and/or integration of these programs in MS7? Thanks,

You can "switch" from each application to another with the Switch function.

But i use it very rarely, because i either edit videos or work in CG or do something wit the audio editor.

I know that other competition products mix all up in a single interface and my first thought was, fine.

But that really depends on your personal work flow and i prefer the single applications, which don't need additional memory and swap space, when they are not in use.
