Haven't run into this till now.
I am scanning photo's and when I try them in vs11,
their is a black box all around it.
I have tried enlarging the pictures no luck.
when I do the dvd, I want them to fill the screen. Proportionatly of course.
tried 640x480. Am I scanning them wrong or something?
thanks Bruce
size of the cilps, not full in vs11?

Hi
Whats¡¦ the aspect ratio of your project.
File-Project Properties, if it indicates 16:9 (widescreen) then you will see a black border around the image.
Change your project properties aspect to 4:3
If you are working with (widescreen) 16:9, use 853 X 480 for your image sizes.
This is the minimum size you should use, if you intend to pan & zoom, it will be best to double this size.

Well, first time I run into it being in the 16:9 mode, you would think after all these years of using it, I would of checked.
Well, guess that is why I use forums
Not sure how it got checked, I never use it. Had to re install everything on the hd, must of been on then.
thanks.
