For my kids' school video projects - we like to have intro music and some titling. Only problem is, these titles appear fuzzy during playback and disappear much too quickly.
Any tips or tricks for titling?
TIA!

If you have a video as a backgroud for your title, you could also slow the speed of the video.
As for the fuzzyness I wouldn't know.
Rob: I extended simple 3 line title to 10 seconds with animation. Now the animation is extended to 10 seconds (slowwww) and the title disappears as soon as the animation finishes. BTW, this is VideoStudio 8.
Here's an idea - create an animation title and a duplicate non-animation title. Sequence the animation first, followed immediately by the non-animation one.
Hokey - but might work.

Hi
From File / Preferences / Edit tab, you can select the default duration of inserted images / colour clips, audio and transitions.
I think the Titles come under Images and Colour.
Each time you insert a clip (other than video) it will default to the duration set.
By selecting the individual clip in the timelines you can alter the duration (top left panel).
Just enter the duration you want.
By adding a colour clip to the start of the video timeline you can set your title to play over the colour.
Use transitions (cross fade) between the colour clip and your video.
The fuzzy playback may be just the preview screen, But without knowing your project and clip properties it is difficult to say.
Hope this helps
