video comes to have artifact after most of the cuts.

Hi,
sorry if I bother, I've been reading the Ulead Media Studio Pro forum for a while and I noticed that you are very weel prepared about it. I'm encountering a problem and I was wondering if you have ever heard about it.
I'm capturing in mpg2, do a quick edit and export in the same format with smart render to burn it on dvd. I used to do exactly the same thing with my old laptop with no problem. Now on a q6600 the video comes to have artifact after most of the cuts.
I tryed on another Pentium D with the same problem. The rendering is so fast, about 1.5 minutes against the up to 15 minutes I had on my old computer but the result is so not good...
I tryed to go on constant bit rate but with no success. The only thing that solve the problem is disabling the smart render... but I really need that speed.
Thanks for your attention
Cris

Cris,

It has been known for sometime that using Smart Render can produce some artifacts against transitions. Unfortunately the only workaround is to not use Smart Render.
