Audio and Video Enhance Features of WinDVD 9 don't work.

Post by SolemnMind »

I just downloaded the WinDVD 9 Plus Trial version and most of the Video and Audio Enhance features are greyed out. As far as I know the trial should be fully functional for a month other than lacking Blu-Ray playback. I don't want to risk buying the full version if I can't use most of its features. I can choose the playback device for audio but not the technology. Of the audio effects only echo is not grayed out and the equalizer is also unusable. As far as video is concerned, the "Enable Hardware Color Acceleration" is available as well as the Time Stretching options and the Deinterlacing option, but I can't adjust the color or use All2HD. I use Windows Vista 32-bit on a Core Duo notebook. Is there anything I can do.

you have to turn off all hardware accelerations & colour control options in order to use the software based enhancement features - & they use a lot of CPU !

But I do have "Enable Hardware Color Acceleration" turned off....Besides, that should only affect video options, my audio features are also greyed out.
