PSPX2 / Hauppauge TV conflict

Post by tiz »

I've been using PSP for years (most recently ver. 9). I decided to upgrade to X2. Trouble is when PSPX2 is installed and I launch Hauppauge TV my computer freezes. Uninstall PSP and it goes back to working fine. I don't have to have the PSPX2 software open, just installed.

I moved the tv card to a different computer, installed PSP and got the same issue.

Both comps are running XP.

Any ideas? Or can anyone confirm a different brand of TV card that does work with PSP?

Thanks

No problems with PSP and my Hauppauge TV cards.

I've got the WinTV-NOVA-T-500

I wonder if one of their different lines would work then. I've tried a Pinnacle DVB-T Stick which works but the signal is annoyingly dodgy.

I haven't had chance to update my signature block but I have a WinTV Nova TD USB stick running on a Vista Home Premium. It has not presented any problems with PSPx2 on that machine.
