Hello,
Have the lip sync problems been fixed in the new VS9? There were considerable posts on this problem.
Thanks!!
VS 9 Sync problems fixed??
Moderator: Ken Berry
I have a very strange problem wiht VS9 with the audio sync.
When I trim frames from the front of the first video clip and add other clips and trim frames from these clips and render the file to mpg or to DVD the audio will be out of sync on the first clip and back in sync on the second clip until the second to last clip then the audio goes out of sync again and so on and so forth.
If you don't trim any frames from a clip the audio will stay in sync.
Still can't tell when the out of sync will happen, but they still haven't fixed the problem.

Please report this to Ulead Tech Support (if you can figure out how to communicate with them). I also have had problems with recursive editing (in VS8.01) but have never had a bona fide test case.
As a workaround, try creating a video file of that sequence with Smart Render disabled. If that works, send the original OOS file to Tech spt also.

I've been very frustrated with OOS issues on Videostudio and I was tempted to look elsewhere when 9 came out.
So far so good! I've been capturing my videos in DVD mode - created a dvd.iso - then used the disc recorder to burn the image.
Also, it appears that the issue with capturing audio that was recorded in 16 bit mode was solved.
