Burger Transitions not there

Post by San_kev »

I'm using UVS11
I had downloaded and using them with UVS since ver 8 Burger Transitions and installed, I was able to use them at the begining; for some reason now they are not there, I tried to by click and drag to vxf folder, by runing the burguer.exe, still doesn't show; even though the folder shows all filters *.vxf (or vfx)

What went wrong?

Looking at the BT website it would seem that thay have only been tested with VS 6, 7 and 8 and the software is "freeware". I would imagine their performance with VS 11 would be un-predictable at best.

Just reinstall the Burger's Transitions and FX Bench (if you use those also). I've found that when I reinstall VS, I need to reinstall the transitions for them to appear in VS..

Not so.... They work perfectly in all versions of VideoStudio from 6 up to the current one VS11+, They also work with all versions of DVD MovieFactory, MediaStudio Pro 7 & 8 and also Gif Animator 5. Didn't manage to get them to work with CD&DVD Picture show.

I sort of remember something about Burger's latest installer putting the vfx files in a different location than earlier...

On my PC, I have a zip file of all the Burger vfx files located at C:\Program Files\Burger\Burgers Transition Pack\burger.zip. You may have to manually extract those and place them in the vfx files in the vfx folder of the program you want to use them with.

Thank you guys...

I've re-installed BTransitions, neither way worked (to their own folder or vfx folder; by copying, draging all *.vfx files).
Seems that this happened since I was told to delete "user\Application Data\Ulead Systems\Ulead VideoStudio\11.0\ VFilter.rsf" when my ALBUM transtation wouldn't show up (still)
I have no choise but RE-install UVS11 again.... snif
I'll do it as soon as I finish my son's school project.

ALLWAYS Glad to use the Forum...

Try deleting "user\Application Data\Ulead Systems\Ulead VideoStudio\11.0\ VFilter.rsf" again.
