The trial version of VS9 has been postponed from the 15th to the 19th and now to the end of the month. Does anyone have a clue as to when it will really be available?
And has ANYONE been succesful in getting an answer to ANY email or tech support question to ULead? I'm a registered user of MFDC 3 and can't get any response to my questions or concerns, not even an automated reply. It's like they don't exist. With this record, I can't risk buying VS9 without trying it out first.
I was told when I called their customer service number that since I purchased their version 3 less than 30 days before the release of version 4 that I could get a free download upgrade once I'd emailed them proof of purchase. I did that and have not gotten a reply to that email either.
Does anyone know the secret to getting some response?

I'm glad you got the swift response, but I have sent the email a second time and still have had no response at all. It is not being returned, so I assume it is getting to the right place. Could you give me the email address you were given to send the proof of purchase? Did you buy directly from ULead or was it a purchase elsewhere?

The customer service representative I talked go gave me an email address that would go right to him. He knew to expect my email with a scanned sales receipt attached. Because of this I don't think it would help you to send him an email that he would not know anything about.
I would recommed calling back to customer support and trying again. Maybe the customer support representative you get this time will respond to your follow-up email.
I had bought MF3 at a local retail store so I had to scan my receipt. If I had bought directly from Ulead I think all I would have had to do is give customer support the order number.
