Can I create a manually controlled photo slide show?

Post by EarlWaud »

I would like to create a slide show that starts out paused and that is controlled by pressing the next/previous chapter buttons on the DVD remote, like you would control view the slides of a power point presentation.

I've tried twice and while I can setup each photo as an individual chapter, when I press play the slide show begins to play like a movie delaying only the 3 seconds that I've configured as the viewing time. Even if I press pause, as soon as I press next chapter to go to the next image, play resumes automatically from that image forward.

Is there are way with DVD Movie Factory 6 to create a "paused" slide show that can be controlled manually ?

Thanks,
-Earl

I don't believe it is. With Chapters, once you move to a chapter, it will continue to play to the end of the Title in which it is a part of.

Not that I am aware of. Some standalone DVD Players will accept a CD/DVD containing JPG images. Have you checked to see if yours will and if so it may or may not support single picture stepping.
