Adding multiple audio files

Post by Scott_Mullen »

Can someone tell me if it is possible to add multiple music tracks to a DVD slideshow? I can only get it to add 1 track. I am wanting to have 3 or 4 songs linked to the images as there are about 200 in the show.

Break it up...

break it up to 4 slideshows of about 50 pictures each. Then add one song per slideshow :)

Or, you could use an audio program to combine several songs into one long song, and use the long song as bakground music to your 200-picture slideshow.

Problem is... I want it to all run as one show as they are all images from a wedding. Surely there should be a way to add more than one song... shouldn't there??

Either works...

It only lets you add one song per slideshow, but you can add multiple slideshows to the same project, and they will play right after each other if you set it up to play that way (so it will look like one long slideshow (with maybe a brief pause between shows on the timeline). With a wedding, you could have the rehearsal, wedding, reception, outtakes, etc...

Or if you use the second option I mentioned, it would be one long slideshow.

Any suggestions for a good audio program to use to "join" them together?

The 2nd tool down at this link looks pretty good (I haven't tried it, but it's free)
