Post by Nash61 »

Hey Guys I have the Nvidia 5200 Graphix card and tv tuner.

Im trying to make clips of video.

No clue how to do anything... I want to Capture MPEG clips with the following setting
Video:
DVD-NTSC 4:3
24 Bits 720*480 29.97 fps

Audio:
MPEG Audio
Stereo
48000 Hz
224 kbps

Can someone tell me how to set this up...I tried the user defined section but after the video is captured I get no sound but there was sound as I was capturing.

Can someone help me as im lost sorry for the inconvienence.

Make sure whatever audio input your using, is enabled for recording in the soundcard configuration.

Depends on what soundcard you have. If you have the little speaker icon by the clock right click and select settings or properties. Look for the record volume and that it's enabled.

If your TV tuner is a usb device, make sure you are recording from line in (default is microphone) To do this:

1) Double click on the speaker next to your clock. This loads up the Master Volume controls
2) Click on Options -> Properties
3) Switch the green dot to record.
4) click okay

Now you'll see your recording devices. Only the one with the "select' box checked will record. So make sure it's below Line in.
