New Tutorial - VS11/11.5 Plus: Grooving to the Beat!

Post by rguthrie »

I'm pleased to offer an exciting tutorial called VS11/11.5 Plus: Grooving to the Beat!.
Ronald Guthrie wrote:We probably have all seen videos where either text or the video itself was pulsating to the beat of the music. With VS11/11.5 Plus, and a little work, you can perform this neat effect too.
Enjoy!

Be creative and have fun!

Pre and Post

Post by tommytucker »

are you basically saying that you are creating a template with the pre and post VSP? You can alter the 'Text' in the ...pre or post and keep the effects. I am still confused about that.

Yep that's what he's saying. Have a look in the Member Samples at one that I created doing just that...;)

tommytucker,

Just to agree with vidoman, yes that's what I'm saying. As long as you don't change the music, you can edit the text all you want in the pre-effects project and keep the same effect! Is that cool or what! I know this effect can be time consuming (putting in all of those key frames), but the payoff is being able to use it again and again in different projects. Just change the text in your text_pre.vsp project and then open your text_post.vsp project and render a video according to your intended project's output, for example if you're going to make a DVD, use NTSC DVD (or PAL DVD).

Hope this helps!
Ronald Guthrie

P.S. The video vidoman posted shows perfectly was this effect is capable of producing.
