V11.5plus failing to load, even after reinstall

Post by RedExpress »

Hi,

Finally upgraded from V9 to V11.5plus recently.

All went just fine, although I hadn't really done that much, until I accidently loaded my old version 9. I accessed the program in error and exited in the usual way.

Suddenly I can't get into V11. Each time I try to load the program an error message comes up saying "... configuration wrong. Try reinstalling...may fix"

I've tried the following at least twice:
Regular uninstall via Control Panel then reinstall. Same message
Manual uninstall as per Ulead instructions then reinstall. Same message.
Tried accessing away from a link in Program File area. Same message.

Help! I'm out of ideas.

I'm running XP.
I still have V8 and V9 on system.
Don't take life too seriously - it's not permanent!

RedExpress,

Have you tried Ulead VideoStudio 11/11Plus Hot Fix 01? Or perhaps something with 8 or 9 is conflicting with VS11, although that wouldn't normally be the case. However, it may be and I'd suggest using the uninstalling instructions from this forum.

Hope this helps,
Ron Guthrie

Try removing both then just install 11.5 Plus...
