Ulead Video Studio 7 SE DVD - Flickers

Post by pwipwi »

Hi, I am now using Ulead Video studio 7 SE DVD and I am using AverMedia DVD EZMaker Pro USB 2.0 to as a capturing device. This device automatically convert my movies to MPEG2. I was trying to edit the MPEG file but when I ever I trimmed a clip, I can see the movie flickers at the beginning of the trimmed movie. I don't know what is going on and really frustrating.

Also with this capture device, Ulead 7 SE DVD only allows me to capture using "field Order B". I wonder would that be the problem? I have read that Field Order A is a better option for video clips to be played on TV.

I also noticed that if I don't' do any editing and just burn the MPEG file to disc, then no flickers appear on the movie.

I am all confused. Would someone please explain what is going on here? :(

Try matching your capture settings to your project settings. Then create your video file with the Project Settings.
Now using Adobe Premiere and Photoshop
