Auto Subtitle Track Automatically capture date, time HD-cam

Auto Subtitle Track ¡V Automatically capture
video file name, date, time, and EXIF (photo) data and
view as a subtitle track.
Now I use this option with a standard DV-camera (Panasonic NV GS5)
Is it also possible to use this option with a hard disc HD camcorder when I burn the recordings to DVD?
Is it still possible to see the original recording date and time as a subtitle on the DVD?
