"The disk was sucessfully burned" - oh really??

Post by jimmy2bob »

I have just created my first project using studio 9 (after working happily on 7 and 8), after 20 mins of rendering it says "the disk was successfully burned". It clearly hasn’t!

I'm creating an image in a folder, not writing to disk for the time being.

I've even done a search for dvd.iso but no joy.

All the settings are standard, I’ve got all the updates and I’m tearing my hair out!

Any ideas???

Thanks for your time

Have you tried checking My Documents\Ulead Video Studio\9.0? That's where it defaults to

Hi,
Whatever drive your working from (usually C:
Open up "My Computer"
Right click on the drive letter and select "SEARCH"

Type in *.iso as the search criteria.

Next time you create an iso file write down the location in the
burner screen where the file will be created. Use the folder icon to
also select a location.

Hope this helps,
:)

thanks MD, but i've already done a search for iso files.

This is very strange and I'm tearing my hair out over it, the problem is there is no error, so it thinks nothing is wrong, but i can assure you it is!!

1. Try to monitor memory usage using Task Manager. Keep an eye on the amount of memory that's free. Also, in Task Manager's View menu for the process list, you can add the "Peak Memory Usage" column to the display -- this will show you the maximum that UVS used.

2. If you don't seem to be running out of memory, the failure may be caused by a damaged source file in your project. Try turning off SmartRender if it's on, or rendering the file(s) in the project to new ones, and then substituting those for the files currently in the project.
