VideoStudio 9 - error message 13102:2:4

VideoStudio 9 - error message 13102:2:4
I get error 13102:2:4 every time I try to view a "project". Individual clip run fine. Error 13102:2:4 - Failed to use DirectView video engin. Can not play back audio stream, no audio hardware available or no responding. Any guess' why?
