VS10+, how do you text label the menu opening screen arrows

Post by tommytucker »

and navigation icons? I understand what the Home, Forward and Backward arrows mean and the 1/2 area if you have an additional screen of thumbnails for clip playback. But some in my family may not be able to figure out that there are additional clips on another screen or that you can click on the first chapter in a clip and play all. Would like to label those with PLAY ALL, MORE SCENES, etc. Can't seem to find that in Help or Manual.

I threw this together quickly with PhotoImpact.
Unzip to the default file location and then start VideoStudio.
Select the menu you want to use then select the [EDIT] tab
Customize layout
Navigation Button
you will find the new set of text buttons at the far right.

You will probably need to drag some of the text apart on the preview screen.

This is in the 4.3 menu folder. Simply copy/paste to the 16.9 folder if you are using widescreen.

Sorry about that... I didn't see your post until just after midnight and I had to be up for work at 0545 am so it was a bit rushed and i missed a step out - converting the text to images.

Here is a new zip file preset with files for VideoStudio 11+ and MovieFactory 6+ plus I have made a second set in black.

You will also find a new tutorial in the IMAGING & WEB Product Tutorials forum, plus I made a copy in the competition (to draw attention to the competition)
