Newbie question

Post by Oatsey »

I am new to this so sorry if this is a stupid question.
I am trying to create a DVD file which i can then just burn repeatedly.
I have created this with chapters etc in it on a disc and this works fine. Ulead seems to have saved an image and a separate folder with the chapter menus etc as well as the actual dvd file.

How do i get a file that i can just burn repeatedly which has all the chapters on as the raw video file probably has not but i don't want to go through setting the chapters up every time in Ulead and burn the disc there.

Help???

Why don't you just disk copy your original? :D

You can do two things. You can create a .iso image file or you can create the dvd folders on your hard drive. Both of these options are available on the "Create Disk" screen.

but - if as you say Oatsey you already have a disc image file you can go "Start >> All Programs >> Ulead VideoStudio 9 >> VCD DVD Disc Image Recorder" and burn your Image file consecutively to as many discs as you wish.

Sorry guys i know this is probably being thick again but i have selected the options of DVD folders or DVD disc image file .

These seem to set up various files with say the chapter menus in one folder and burn imp in another or another file for the disc imp .

What do i do with these to actually just burn a repeat disc with all teh chapters and same video on as i just burn't on to the disc at the same time as these were being created?

I am affraid i need the manuel "i know nothing" version.

If you have created the disc image file (.iso) then just do what I said in my previous post and when the dialogue box appears select "Open" and browse to the .iso file only you will then be able to burn as many repeat discs as you want.

If you need a manual you can download one from here :-

and if you haven't already got them you can download video tutorials from here :-
