Burning "Disc Image" file to DVD

Post by Playitloud »

Hello Forum,

I am new to Ulead Movie Factory 6 from Roxio (curse!) Creator 9.

In Roxio I created disc image files (*.iso) and burned them to disc, as Roxio would shrink to fit an ISO file to a 4.7GB disc.

However Roxio is full of bugs and enough is enough, so on recommendation I now have Ulead Movie Factory 6.

When burning a project there is an option to "Create Disc Image". But how with Movie Factory do I burn this file to a DVD?

Many thanks in advance.

Sorry to be obtuse, but I can't find this screen anywhere. I'm running Ulead DVD MovieFactory 6 Plus with HD pack, build 6.10.0194.6. Any advice?

Hi thebombers

I have build 6.10.0194.0 and on clicking Copy Disc the the options as per the image are present.

Have you installed Ulead DVD MovieFactory 6 Patch 2 or was your version 0194.6 straight out of the box?

Thanks Playitloud. I did a clean reinstall with the latest patches and it now works OK.

I think I now understand where the problem lay. In my previous instal I had deleted the desktop shortcut (which takes you to the full options page above) and always opened from the programs file in START (which always took me to the Start Project page.) Keeping the desktop shortcut seems to be the solution.
