Burning dvd with Version 9

Post by fcheong »

I installed VideStudio 9 and now when I tried to burn the dvd the program just hangs after 82% of Total Progress has finished.. I had Versiom 8 installed and this worked well. How I regret moving to version 9! I am using Win XP Pro and have 1G RAM installed.
Can anyone help please?

If you have the CD's, insert and try "repair" . That may work....

Are you following the procedure recommended in the top post?

I checked the version of ULCDRDrv.dll. It is version 3.4.8.260, which I think is the most recent.

The most recent version of the burning engine pack, which is included with VS9, is actually 3.6.18.260 and dated 01/31/2005 (ULCDRDrv.dll).

You should probably uninstall VS9 and reinstall from the exe file you downloaded.

uninstall VS9 and delete the DVD folder in C:\program files\capture files=Ulead systems.

Otherwise, it sees that the burn engine is still installed and won't replace it.

Thank you for your help. I decided to make a clean start and deleted all the ULEAD programs I had, then re installed Video Studio 9. I think that when I removed version 8, which was an upgrade version, some parts of the necessary program wwere also removed. Now I am pleased to say that version 9 is working as it should.
Thanks again.
